Description

Sculptureum: three Gardens; one and a half kilometres of paths; six Galleries; a Function Centre, and Rothko – Sculptureum’s restaurant and bar. This has been a long term project for Anthony and Sandra Grant for more than 12 years, and the realisation of Anthony’s dream to create an environment that provokes thought, intrigues, inspires and ultimately enriches people’s lives. Conceived by Anthony and designed by him, the three Gardens and six Galleries are diverse and show all aspects of creativity, of both natural and human endeavour. The Gardens and Galleries have over 800 works from various international and local artists. The Gardens showcase sculpted items from prehistoric rocks and old bridge sleepers to works in glass, metal, wood, ceramics, concrete, plastic and combinations of these materials.
